Did you know, it's Global Entrepreneurship Week 2009 from 16th November to the 22nd November?

I know that Lord Sugar is giving a talk tonight at BICP (Google it to watch)

Anyone know what else is planned for the UK?

Hoping it will be of use to the three 'In A Fishbowl' businesses - so far things seem to be going well for them, but how will it continue? They're only at the beginning of their journey - surely it can't go this well forever?

Hi everyone,

Have you ever thought of running your own business once you finish uni?

I know 4 people who thought running their own business would be a good idea. Matt has started a new record label and band management company, Marcella a Mexican food business and Owain a Dominic an online tailored suit company.

You can watch them as they take their ideas to business reality. Each business uploads videos and blogs so you can learn from their experience.

What you need to do is, get a bank statement of your account or anyone who is sponsoring you, your father or other guardian. Bank statement should have 8000 pounds lasting for one month. Then you will need to pay the 500 pound deposit, and send your mark sheets, passport copy, bank statement to the college. They will provide you with the accpetance letter which u will need to take to that British council in your area.

I'm not sure why this dream has stayed with me for so long, or why I remember it in such vivid detail - I suppose it's because of the intensity of emotion I felt in the dream.

I'm walking around in a lost, abandoned city. I somehow know I'm completely alone in this place and that its location has long since been forgotten. The entire time I'm there I feel a sense of peace and admiration for the beautiful architecture. It's not in a complete state of decay, but it's clear that no one's lived there for, I don't know how long. The architecture style itself is Greco-Roman, and since I've had that dream - I know it sounds ridiculous - I've always wished that place really existed; that I could go there one day. I collect pictures of places that resemble the city in my dreams, including pictures of Vatican City, but I know these places only look similar to what I witnessed in the dream, it's not that same empty place.

How do you feel to attend in UK.happy or lone?

With the economy threating recession, a new survey revealed that cursing and cussing in workplace can not help your

career.the survey shows that 36% of boss in the US give warning and 6% are fireng employees for using bad words.However the survey revealed that 81.2 percent of senior Exacutives believe that working with colleagues who are a fullmouth is unacceptable.In addition the survey shows that at how senior manager react for using ' F ' word.Also two thirds said that they fire an person for bad office manners.

Did you know, McDonald's has got a 'Global HR Design Department'!!! They say they want to create a 'global restaurant selection process' with a global staffing strategy. I don't think this will work- people are different all over the world....

Some people make the distinction between Human Resource Management and Human Resource Development, saying management is concerned with the day-to-day stffing issues like payroll and insurance. Why do u think companies need HRM departments?

As we are in 21 first century most succesfull companies are focusing on their employees and their need alos their request.Human reourse depatment is new name for Personel Department which used before 1980s.

Hi. I was wondering who likes the new web-site design and if there is anything what you would change?

It looks much better for me but the speed of the web-site in general is a little bit slow now. And I would put more bright colours.
