Individual and Small Group Tuition

Individual or small group tuition gives you the opportunity to focus on the language and skills which are most important for you, and progress at a pace which suits you.

Course Description

Individual and small group tuition is designed to suit the needs of the students. We offer a range of subjects, including:

general English from starter to proficiency level exam preparation for IELTS, FCE, CAE, CPE, TOEFL and TOIEC preparation for the citizenship test.

The first lesson will involve a ‘needs analysis’ session where course aims are decided by the student and teacher together.

Course Levels

We accept students at any level for individual and small group tuition. If you wish to study in a small group, members should be at a similar level and have similar learning aims.

Course Times

Classes can be taken at any time from 9.00am to 8.30pm, Monday to Saturday. We recommend that lessons are between 1½ and 3 hours long. Choose the days and times which are most convenient for you and we will do our best to find you a teacher.

Course Cost

Classes must be booked in sets of 4 and paid for in advance. You can pay for a trial lesson separately to ensure you are happy with your teacher. If you wish to study from a coursebook, this must be paid for separately.

If you wish to cancel or postpone a lesson, you must give 48 hours’ notice.
