Conversation Classes
Conversation classes help you to improve your speaking ability and confidence, particularly concentrating on fluency, communication and pronunciation.
Course Description
On the course you will practise:
English for socialising (such as chatting to friends, discussing things, and telling stories and jokes) English for daily life (such as making reservations, complaining, and going to the hairdresser’s) English for work or further education (such as speaking on the telephone, giving presentations and speaking in interviews). You and your classmates will decide how much time to spend on each of these areas. Small classes mean that you can help the teacher to plan a course that suits you.
Every lesson will include a focus on pronunciation, making sure your spoken English is understandable. Classes will include discussion of up-to-date topics, role plays, improvisation, free conversation, presentations, practising dialogues and other activities to improve your spoken communication.
